Every year in early spring, the prize-giving ceremony is held in the Hôtel du Département (County Hall, Ardèche County Council) for the “Flowers, Landscape and Living Environment” competition.
As René Barjavel said, “The useless and the superfluous are more essential for humankind than the necessary”.
A great number of villages follow this advice and participate in this increasingly exacting competition organised by the Conseil d’Architecture, d’Urbanisme et de l’Environnement (Architecture, Town Planning and Environment Council).
In 2012, the village of Chassiers won First Prize for its blooms, having already won first and second prizes in 2011.
Congratulations and Thank You to our technical department!
